VTC Technician

Job Description:

Government Tactical Solutions, LLC “GovTact” is seeking a VTC Technician to support our government customer in Colorado Springs, CO.


  • The ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and perform the necessary wiring installation through walls, ceilings, floor, and conduit. As well as

  • security requirements for such.

  • Know or previously done different methods for cable termination. Cat 5/6, Fiber, Pin Crimp, solder, ect.

  • Has a working knowledge of audio-visual concepts and technology

  • Experience in IT equipment installation in server racks, user desks, conference tables, Com rooms.

  • Proper cable installation and dressing within racks

  • IT design from customer requirements

  • Programming knowledge or experience is desired but not a must.

  • Basic networking knowledge and IP configuration.

  • IT troubleshooting skills. 

  • Available Shifts:

    •  Mon – Fri (8am – 4pm)

      • Training is up to 8 weeks during the 1st shift (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm)

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires an active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to undergo a polygraph.

  • High School Diploma + 10 years

  • Associate degree + 8 years

  • Bachelor's Degree + 6 years

  • Master's Degree + 4 years


Desired Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph security clearance
