GovTact is searching for an energetic person to fill out open position as a Technical Recruiter.
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for finding and developing relationships with IT consultants that will then be placed on government or commercial assignments. GovTact relies on its Recruiters to source qualified IT candidates and to then bring them on to support GovTact’s different clients. Recruiters will learn how to accurately search and qualify candidates, marketing strategies, how to do business with the Federal Government, and how to identify opportunities to drive business growth. The Technical Recruiter will be on a fast-paced career path and his/her pay will be in the form of salary as well as commission. This position also provides full benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k and life insurance.
At least one year of work experience with customer interaction. Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of work experience in the IT industry or recruiting field.
Strong preference for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree
Must be proficient with PC skills such as MS Office Suite
Ability to think tactically as well as strategically, synthesize business/financial data and develop innovative solutions

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively over the phone or in person at all organizational levels and across diverse cultures
