Job Description:

Government Tactical Solutions (GovTact) is seeking a Sr. Embedded Developer to support our government customer in Fort Meade, MD.



  • You know that embedded/application developers, reverse engineers, and vulnerability analysts all play key roles in the capability development lifecycle.

  • As a Computer Network Operations (CNO) Capability Development Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to use skills in C/C++ and assembly language to support our government intelligence clients.

  • We're looking for someone like you to have a direct impact on the nation's security.

  • On our team, you'll be involved in the full lifecycle of software projects.

  • Working on an agile team of experts, you'll perform reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of diverse software problems.

  • You will inform operational parameters for complex systems, as well as leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to influence the delivery of your work.



  • TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph

  • BA or BS degree

  • 6+ years of experience with software system requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing

  • 4+ years of experience with software development

  • Experience with developing on multi-threaded POSIX or Embedded platforms, including Linux, UNIX, Android, or VxWorks

  • Experience with software reverse engineering or debugging tools, including IDAPro, OllyDbg, or gdb

  • Experience with network and socket programming for common protocols and standards

  • Knowledge of low-level systems programming concepts


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with vulnerability analysis or exploit development

  • Experience with Python Experience with developing software in a cross-compiler environment for architectures that include ARM, MIPS, or PowerPC

  • Experience with assembly language, including development or reversing and proficiency in one architecture assembly language
