Field Service Technician-Level 3

Job Description:

Government Tactical Solutions (GovTact) is seeking a Field Service Technician – Level 3 to provide services to our government client’s facility in Fort Leavenworth, KS. GovTact will support our client in providing DoDIIS (Department of Defense Intelligence Information System) customers worldwide with an ESOC consisting of Self-Help Knowledge Portals, remote Service Desk resolution support, and in-field customer engagement support. GovTact will be the first point of contact for IT problem resolutions helping to increase user satisfaction, reduce resolution time, and consolidate and standardize remote and in-field customer support at the enterprise level.

Responsibilities:

  • Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies a multitude of IT equipment across several LAN and WANs 

  • Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations

  • Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance

  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time

  • Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordination with engineering field change

  • Maintains effective customer communications and relations

  • May provide onsite training of customer support personnel

  • Potential for CONUS or OCONUS travel

 

Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Clearance required with active CI Polygraph (CI poly preferred or must be able to obtain)

  • AA or equivalent and three (3) years of relevant experience

  • Certifications: Security+ or other technical certification to meet DoD 8570 compliance requires (IAT Level II minimum)
