GOVTACT IS AN SBA CERTIFIED 8(A) VENDOR
On September 8th, 2014, GovTact entered the SBA 8(a) program. This is a business assistance program for small disadvantaged businesses. The 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance to firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.
Within the parameters of this program, government customers are able to access GovTact's services quickly and easily. GovTact can receive sole-source contracts (no competition), up to a ceiling of $4 million for goods and services and $6.5 million for manufacturing.
GOVTACT IS A VETBIZ VERIFIED SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS
On June 18th, 2012 GovTact entered the Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) program which is managed by the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) within the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The purpose of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern Procurement Program is to provide procuring agencies with the authority to set acquisitions aside for exclusive competition among service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, as well as the authority to make sole source awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns if certain conditions are met.
